Paysages VerduRoy wins two awards at the 31st APPQ Gala 2010

The 31st APPQ (Professional Landscaping Association of Quebec) gala was held at Victoriaville on 17th February. Almost 100 gardens were in competition for the best landscape projects in Québec. L’équipe de Paysages VerduRoy presented 3 projects.

Samuel Roy and some of his team members won two awards highlighting the excellence of the two projects presented. The team was awarded second prize in the category «Inviting Facades». This project concerned arranging the facade of a suburban residential building. The project included an unusual plant style lighting scheme, designed especially to for the site .

The team returned to the stage a second time when awarded 3rd prize in the category «Concrete at its best». The teams project was both contemporary and innovative. The project involved interesting paving layouts with pedestrian zones and water features that merged together. The water feature and the pedestrian areas had the same paving layout, giving an original and harmonious visual aspect to this back yard.

In just two participations, in 2009 and 2010, Paysages VerduRoy has won 4 prizes. These awards contribute largely to the team's motivation and encourage us to continue our innovative work with unusual and distinctive projects.

We now have a rendezvous for the 32nd APPQ gala to be held in February 2011!
